The terms on which Scoring is provided. Last updated 2 September 2026.
Scoring is operated by Komuco, based in Melbourne, Australia. By using Scoring you agree to these terms. If you use Scoring on behalf of a club, you agree to them for that club as well, and you confirm you are authorised to do so.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these terms.
Scoring is provided free of charge. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, and we do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors.
Scoring is a record-keeping tool. It does not organise your competition, supervise play, or make decisions about eligibility, safety or disputes — those remain entirely the club’s responsibility.
Give accurate details when you sign up, keep your sign-in secure, and do not share your account with anyone else. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it. You are responsible for what is done through your account.
Scoring lets club administrators record players, including people who do not have an account. If you enter information about another person, you are responsible for it. In particular you must:
Your club controls whether its competitions are public. Competitions are private by default; making one public publishes player names and results to anyone on the internet.
Take particular care with players under 18. Only record their details with the consent of a parent or guardian, and think carefully before publishing a junior competition.
You must not:
Results, ratings, ladder positions and everything else in a competition are entered by clubs and their members. We do not verify them and are not responsible for them. If a result is wrong, take it up with the club that recorded it.
You keep ownership of the information you enter. You give us permission to store, process and display it as needed to provide the service — including publishing it where your club has chosen to make a competition public.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees.
Subject to that, Scoring is provided “as is”, and to the extent permitted by law:
Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. Scoring is free, and it is not a system of record for anything critical.
We may suspend or remove an account, a club or a competition that breaches these terms, that puts other people’s information at risk, or that threatens the security of the service. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.
You can stop using Scoring at any time.
We may update these terms as the service changes. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top. Continuing to use Scoring after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
